Love! Joy! friendship! Peace! Happiness! Nature! - Simplicity - Beauty In Simplicity
Here's a nice poem, hope you enjoy your day.
Don't be foolish and get sour when things don't just come your way-
Don't you be a pampered baby and declare, "Now I won't play!"
Just go grinning on and bear it;
Have you heartache? Millions share it,
If you earn a crown, you'll wear it-
Keep sweet.
Don't go handing out your troubles to your busy fellow-men-
If you whine around they'll try to keep from meeting you again;
Don't declare the world's "against" you,
Don't let pessimism win you,
Prove there's lots of good stuff in you-
Keep sweet.

If your dearest hopes seem blighted and despair looms into view,
Set your jaw and whisper grimly, "Though they're false, yet I'll be true."
Never let your heart grow bitter;
With your lips to Hope's transmitter,
Hear Love's songbirds bravely twitter,
Keep sweet.

Bless your heart, this world's a good one, and will always help a man;
Hate, misanthropy, and malice have no place in Nature's plan.
Help your brother there who's sighing.
Keep his flag of courage flying;
Help him try-'twill keep you trying-
Keep sweet.
Never stop
(I did not see a title, so i made one up)
You know a dream is like a river, ever changing as it flows.
And a dreamer's just a vessel that must follow where it goes.
Trying to learn from what's behind you and never knowing what's in store
makes each day a constant battle just to stay between the shores.
And I will sail my vessel 'til the river runs dry.
Like a bird upon the wind, these waters are my sky.
I'll never reach my destination if I never try,
So I will sail my vessel 'til the river runs dry.
Too many times we stand aside and let the water slip away.
To what we put off 'til tomorrow has now become today.
So don't you sit upon the shore and say you're satisfied.
Choose to chance the rapids and dare to dance the tides.
Dare to be true, dare to do right
Dare to be true, dare to do right
For the sake of truth, love and light;
Pursue your quest, instead of fight
Pursuit of light will bring you might.
Dare to be true, dare to do right
It’s as clear as black and white
When you steer your course towards light
Unseen hands support you in flight.
Dare to be true, dare to do right
In spite of others' venomous bite;
Keep love and truth always in thy sight
And to your world, you'll bring light
When all about you is black with gloom,
And all you feel is pending doom.
When your bones are racked with grim despair -
When every breath is a gasp for air.
Keep on going, though you need to grope,
For around the bend is a ray of hope.

You've lost it all, it's just no use!
You can end it all, you need no excuse.
But throw away that piece of rope,
And give yourself a chance of hope.

Just give yourself another day,
Brushing aside what your thoughts may say.
This is your life and you can make a new start,
By ignoring the brain - just follow the heart.
Taking baby steps in order to cope,
And minute by minute you'll build on your hope.

Build on your hope,. one day at a time,
Though the road be steep and hard to climb.
The hurts of the past - they should be dead.
The fears of the future are all in your head.
Just live in the present and refuse to mope
Your life will sparkle for you're living in hope.
Have a laugh
Nothing can express how you feel better than a poem.These are entries to a competition asking for a rhyme with the
most romantic first line but least romantic second line . . . .
Love may be beautiful, love may be bliss
but I only slept with you, because I was pissed
thought that I could love no other
Until, that is, I met your brother roses
are red, violets are blue, sugar is sweet, and so are you.
But the roses are wilting, the violets are dead, the sugar bowl’s
empty and so is your head.
Of loving beauty you float with grace
If only you could hide your face.
Kind, intelligent, loving and hot
This describes everything you are not I
want to feel your sweet embrace
But don’t take that paper bag off of your face I
love your smile, your face, and your eyes-
Damn, I’m good at telling you lies!
My darling, my lover, my beautiful wife:
Marrying you screwed up my life I
see your face when I am dreaming
That’s why I always wake up screaming My
love you take my breath away
What have you stepped in to smell this way My
feelings for you no words can tell
Except for maybe “go to hell”
What inspired this amorous rhyme?
Two parts vodka, one part lime.
