Beauty in simplicity Poems
Take the time to read fun poems about love, happiness and the beauty in simplicity.

Simply Beautiful
Plain eyes without liner or shadow
Yet they have a charismatic charm
A mesmerising vigour that I never knew
Stronger that the gravitational pull
Lost in the magnetism I ask myself
Simplicity, is that the word?

Silky skin sans any coat
Of the artificial cosmetics, still it glows,
In that gentle touch, I can live a lifetime
Die a million deaths, yet willing to be born
Lost in the tenderness I ask myself
Simplicity, is that the word?

Scarlet honey dipped lips with no lipstick
Stealing the red from the cherry
Stealing the honey from the flowers
The garden seems faded when I see you
Lost in the sweetness I ask myself
Simplicity, is that the word?

Velvety hair with a natural curl
Loosened freely, swings with the air
A magical dance in the nature’s cadence
The flowers implore to adorn you
Lost in the chasteness I ask myself
Simplicity, is that the word?

A voice echoes from beyond
As if a message from the nymph
Making me realise in a flash of a second

That the word is “simply beautiful

Simplicity

Simplicity...
Isn't often easy to achieve,
When teased by variety.
And those assortments of life.

Yet when simplicity arrives,
As a necessity...
One is able to breathe deeply,
With a sense of peace and clarity.

Simplicity

In the end, there are just those moments
Where our minds are not under control
Because our hearts are beating too loud
And simplicity overpowers the soul

I dream of Simplicity

I dream of simplicity,
Love, happiness and infinity,
I believe one day, there will be something more,
Something worth living, something worth dying for,
One day, I know, I will have it all,
To make up for every single painful fall,
Beauty, freedom, a sense of peace,
My life one day, will be back in one piece,
I want to enjoy living day by day,
Knowing everything worked out the right way,
I'm ready for adventure, ready for my break,
And I'm more then willing to do whatever it will take.
Yes, I dream of simplicity,
Love, happiness, and infinity,
A world where loneliness doesn't exist, doesn't belong,
From here on in my life is my own, I can do no wrong,
My past will no longer be my painful story,
But a rough path to my oh so sweet glory,
I've been living in a nightmare, full of regret,
And I've failed to achieve anything yet,
So I'm done with the negativity, done with the guilt,
My future is the clay in my hands, waiting to be built,
I'm sick of the tears, sick of the lies,
Sick of being around people whom I despise,
I dream of simplicity,
Maybe some day, you'll take a real look at me,
And finally you'll be able to see,
The happy little child, that was once hiding away in me.
